luftwaffe unit pennant ?
 

trying to find out info on this pennant was told it was a unit pennant and that was it . if anyane has ideas on what unit or some history on it I would like to hear about it . thanks!!

A Luftwaffe pennant of that shape was used by units from Fliegerdivision down to Gruppe level. The yellow in the center represents the Fliegertruppe branch. The Groß Grün (solid or full green, also called "rifle" green) color was not used by the Luftwaffe but may have been "borrowed" from the Heer (Army) in which it was used by Panzergrenadier units. The only Pz.Gren. units in the Luftwaffe belonged to the Hermann Göring Division. The R.J. Bender/G.A. Petersen history of the H.G. Division shows pennants of this shape and color in use by the Division's Panzergrenadier regiments and battalions.
