Nachtjagdwaffe losses on 29/30 Aug. 1944
Hello!
I have been looking for information concerning German nightfighter force losses on 29/30 Aug. 1944. I am particularly interested in those that may have happened over Denmark. There were two main RAF raids on: Stettin & Koenigsberg that night. Any informationw would be appreciated. Regards, Gregory |

Hi Alain!
Thank you for the information. Any suggestions about the units to which those destroyed aircrafts could have belonged? I am particularly interested in the combats during the raid on Stettin. Regards, Gregory |

Re: Nachtjagdwaffe losses on 29/30 Aug. 1944
You will below the losses listed in the book by Michael Balss about the personnal losses of the NJG.
Seven crew are listed, flying 5 Ju 88 and 2 Bf 110, but I am not sure these should be assumed to be the same as given by Mr Boiten, as it is possible that in some cases (1st and 3rd entries for example) the aircraft was hit by enemy fire and one crew was wounded, but the aircraft survived. On the other hand losses of aircraft without crew casualty won't be listed by this source: 1./NJG 2 Hüpstedt, Kreis Worbis/Th. Feindflug: ja Ju 88 G-1 Werknr.. 714156 Uffz.
