Seeking source for photo of 226 SQ Fairey Battle FL near Brussels, Belgium on 13.5.40 & taken over by Belgians & later Germans
 

Hello:

I'm seeking further info on British 226 SQ Battle P2353, code MQo?, FL near Brussels on May 13, 1940, and taken over by the Belgians, then later the Germans. Can anyone steer me to photos of this a/c or information on the British a/c code that it carried?

Sorry no real info but there was a photo sometime back on e bay of a battle in luftwaffe markings,might be the one ?
I think I saved a copy of it onto my spare hard drive I will try to search for it this weekend, if no one else posts it first.

I would appreciate seeing a copy of this photo, but what I'm most interested in is how it appeared in British markings before the Belgians or the Germans took it over.

Paul/Jerry,

Thanks for your inputs here. Have been through those photos on the LEMB and these are all accounted for in our loss British EOE Loss DB, although a couple of the photos were new to me. I still think that out of the thousand or so Battle images from the WC that have become available though eBay and other sources that somewhere out there is a photo of this Battle down on 13 May near Brussels from 226 SQ still in its British markings before the Germans put a swastica on it. This would be coded MQo? So, I would appreciate you all keeping an eye out for this one.
