He 111 P-2 W.Nr.2149
 

Dear gentlemen,

does anyone has some information on this machine?
I'm aware of the photos published in WOBC 6, but still would like to know something more about its fate.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Maciej, from my notes i see this a/c had probably served with 3/KG55 early 1940 and then seeing constant service through till 11.7.41, by which time was now with the Gesch.Stab/KG55 and apparantly failling to return from ops on the Ostfront on this date coded G1+JA. Crew as follows:

FF. Lt Karl Doppelhammer,
B. Fw Fritz Breuig,
Bf. Fw Herbert Schulze,
Bm. Gefr Max Wied,
Bs. Gefr Anton Munster. All reported missing.

I am not aware of the photos you speak of, could you please give any details or perhaps provide a scan?
