I'm trying to find biographical information on this officer. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi

He was born on 27th February 1922. On 14th July 1944 he was shot down in combat with Allied Spitfire's, wounded he bailed-out of his Bf109 near Bagnoles de I'orne, France, not returing to combat status until 30th November 1944. He may have made later claims over Allied aircraft to those listed. He survived the war and died on 27th March 2004.

18th March 1944 II./JG 2 B-17 Strassburg area 1520 hrs 4000 metres v.n.e-a.s.m Nr2.
25th June 1944 5./JG 2 P-38 Caen area 0706 hrs tief Nr3.
