Goodman according to Wynn

Can someone please scan me the entry for George Ernest Goodman, No. 1 Squadron in Kenneth Wynn's 'Men of THe Battle of Britain'? I cannot get hold of a copy anywhere and the new edition is not out yet.

There aren't many photos of him around.
You can find a close up through this site:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_...n_(RAF_officer)
The site is not very comprehensive or accurate, but it is a lot better that the previous attempt which had him listed as "non-British". I had a hell of a job getting them to go this far!
The only other photo I know is the group one in "Hurricanes over Tobruk" and "The History of 73 Squadron, Part 2". 73 Squadron in the desert early 1941. Goodman is the one in the hat. I have a copy of a very bad scan of this picture showing fold marks, so there are either a number of copies of this picture floating around or the folds were edited out for the books.
My interest? It started out as vague curiosity, evolved into a passion to find the truth and then further evolved into an interest in Goodman's whole, very short life. He has a very interesting background which is poorly represented to the world due to personal agenda and bad presumptions. If anyone has any background information on Goodman, I would be very interested in seeng it.

Re: Goodman according to Wynn

The site was only created in February after much hassle. As for recognizing him, it has been a long time, unless he was a personal friend, a clown or a cad, people are hard to remember.

According to Geoff Simpson who is updating 'Men of the Battle of Britain': "New Zealander Alan Bennison, a Blenheim air gunner in the Battle of Britain, has died. About 65 of "The Few" left now." The few are getting fewer.
