Hello,

I'm looking for Photos of Bf109G-6, "Yellow 6", II./JG77, flown out of Italy during 1943/1944. sorry but I do not have a WNr. for it. any help here would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I presume you have looked through J. Prien's volumes on JG 77?

I have not looked at that book, I believe its all in German(?).
would there be a picture of it in there? thanks for replying.

Looked through Volume IV of JG 77. No photos and no loss listing for a ge. 6 of II Gruppe. Are you sure about the time period and unit?

I went back through my notes, it was coloured in overall RLM 78, with mottling of RLM 82 & RLM 81(?). those colours would indicate circa 1944, which leads me to believe that perhaps it may have been with 6./JG77. thanks for kickstarting my brain. I don't know why I would have said II./JG77. I appologize for any confusion.

Oberst, you did start this thread asking for a JG77 "Gelbe 6", circa 43/44 in Italy. Then, coming from your notes, you said this plane was painted "overall RLM 78, with mottling RLM 82 & 81". Why not...
Just a question, from where did you get your notes since you're are looking for a picture of it? Because I'm sure you took those notes from somewhere.... Can you tell us, please?
Net site? Description in a book, review?
Old eBay picture?

the thing is I cannot remember. I write the notes when I come across interesting Bf109 camo schemes. it most probably came from a book. if it was from the internet I would have saved it.
