Re: Pilot R/102197 Whittaker

I note from searching on freeBMD.org.uk that the following names are also registered on the same or following page of the death register:

HOLMES William 57 Brixworth 3b 107
Mackie William G 26 Brixworth 3b 107
Mollet Leslie C 22 Brixworth 3b 107
WHITTAKER John M 22 Brixworth 3b 107
WORMALL George H 30 Brixworth 3b 107

Checking against the CWGC records, Whitaker RCAF, L C Mollet RCAF and W G Mackie RCAF are all buried in Rugby , Graves 9, 10, 11. Same date of death.

Were Mollet and Mackie also on the aircraft with him or another aircraft?

You can order their service records, extracted parts there of, from the Canadian National Archives, google for Canadian service records.

Yes Dennis the three Canadians were all pilots on the aircraft when it clipped a tree before crashing at Northamptonshire.
