Avia B 534 coded 181+

2 Attachment(s)
Hi experts,
many years ago there was thread dealing with czech aircraft in the Luftwaffe. Also two photos and a color profile of an AVIA B 534 coded 181+ were shown.
"Jan vd Heuvel" posted , the emergency landing of 181+ occured near Uetersen.
Recently I came across the exact place (near uetersen", but the eywitness I talked to is not sure about the type of the aircraft, so there is no proof.

Does anybody have better copies of these photos? Where were they published - who owns the originals?
Any information about 181+ (WerkNr. , unit, date of emergency landing, ...) always welcome. Which Luftwaffe units did the Avia B534 serve with?

Best regards

Avias serverd mostly in Flying schools (JFS4 for example) later also find a lot at the
LLG 1 and other FFS. Just had a short look, find most Avias around (180, 182,183,184) but 181 not mentioned, could be possible if the damage was declared below 10%. But most were in use in southern germany (Fürth airfield), also Stolp airfield, later find them also in France and Italy. I don´t had any loss or damaged in the Uetersen area.

Hi all

It's possible, that this Avia B 534 belonged to 1/JGr.Drontheim. I have found many codes (from white +174 - white +210) from this unit.
But it's only a presumption.

I'm not convinced that this emergencylanding was near Ütersen. It is probably an Avia 534 from Jgr. Drontheim(JFS 3), and it matches the circumstances around an incident in southern Jutland 1942.

As far as I know the photoes was part of Peter Petrick collection.
