Uffz. Alfons Baueregger + 28.11.1940

Hi all,

Searching for details of Alfons Baueregger born 29.03.1918 in Kirchanschoering. Death notice states that he was killed during operation over England on the 28.11.1940. I cannot find him listed in Blitz 2 but from the Volksbund site it stated his place of death at Bihucourt. Alfons now lies in the German Cemetery at Bourdon, France.

Any help regarding this loss will be gratly appreciated.

Regards

Melvin

Would that be Bapaume?

I was shown the location of a believed 1940 Ju 88 crash near there a couple of years ago. I could not identify it, but all crew were killed when the aircraft dived into a wood near Railway Cutting Cemetery.

Andy, it looks like an 'n' on the GQM list but when I put Bapaune in on Google Maps only Bapaume came up, so your spelling is correct,
