P47 recovery - TV documentary
 

Hi all

Just in case no-one has looked at the Documentary page, a 100min programme is due to be shown on German TV in January 2006. 45min version on Austrian TV in November.

It will cover the salvage, history, talks to pilots and owners and should be very good. The full history has not been published yet, but 'Dottie Mae' is very historic!

An English TV version is planned for the spring of 2006 as well.

That's great news about the documentry, thanks for the heads-up. To hell with waiting for the next issue of Aeroplane Monthly, can you shed some light on what's going to happen with the T-bolt?
