Feldpostnummer L5300(3) --> Which unit?

Hello,

I received a manual of a Ju 88 A-5 with a LW stamp on with the Feldpostnummer L 5300(3) (the number in brackets is not well readable and it could be another number). I assume it must be a KG unit. Does anybody have more information about it?

Thank you,

Regards,

Roger Gaemperle

Hi Roger.
53 000 = Stab Lw.Feld-Div.22 from 22.1.1944 Stab Flak-Div.23
53003 = Werkst.Kp.Lw.Feld-Div.22; disbanded 10.1.1944,
why either unit would want this manual is beyound me.

Hi SES,

Thank you for the info! It could also be that it was 53002 or 53006 or 53008 or 53009 as only the upper part of the last number is visible. Perhaps there was a KG unit with one of these numbers?

Thank you

Hi,

The best bet within 5000$ is:
50 005 Flgz.Führerschule C 7; 31.3.1944 Flgz.Führerschule B 7; 10.7.1944 Flgz.Führerschule A 5.

Hi SES,

Thank you very much for the additional info. I had a close look at the stamp again and it could even be L 5500x instead of L5300x perhaps that makes more sense. I attached scans so that you can judge yourself.

Thank you
Kind regards,

Hi Roger,

It's 5300$ no doubt, my bet stands and a Flgz.Führerschule (flying school) makes a lot of sense.
