Anson File page 69, has - W1733 - ATA [ 1 FPP / AMF ] Crashed through hedge in forced landing in bad weather in field at Lessines, Belgium 19.9.44. ATA = Air Transport Auxiliary 1 FPP = 1 Ferry Pilot Pool AMF = Air Movements Flight Possible crew , try Geoffs search engine. Alex |

Alex, what do you mean with "possible crew Geofs" ? Is Geofs the firstname ( for geoffrey ? ) or the surname ? Can you say me where this information comes from ? Do you have an idea about the mission and the airbase ? Thanks. Regards |

It means Geoff's search engine on http://www.hut-six.co.uk/cgi-bin/search39-47.php that gives a perfect tool to browse CWGC in more ways than the website itself.

Ok, thanks. I didn't know this website. I searched always with CWGC website. In this case, the pilot was safe and I don't have any name ... Then, always looking for a name or other info about the plane. If somebody has that ... Once more, thanks a lot. |
