Need information about Uffz. Franz Helbing
 

Dear Users,
I am looking for some information about a relative of mine: Uffz. Franz Helbing who was downed on 17/04/43. I have checked the Kracker archive and www.luftwaffe.be MIA list but the info is very limited. If you know anything about him, could you please share the information with me?

1943-04-17, 3./JG 2, FW 190A-4, 145691, 15 km nördlich Dieppe, Absturz nach Luftkampf. Bruch 100 %.
Flugzeugführer Uffz Helbing, Franz, vermißt
Uffz Helbing ins Meer mit Fallschirm abgesprungen.

Have the same information. Maybe the Wast in Berlin, or the DRK have more. Have you contact them ?
