I am looking for identity of pilot and fate of crew of B-26 42-107590 of the 559thBS/387thBG shot down by P-51s in error on 18/4/45. Thanks.

Also required: identity of P-38 pilot and unit mention in Richard Turner's book as crashing at A.2 airfield on 25/6/44. He had been shot down by the airfield's defences.

Additionally, has anyone any ideas who was responsible for attacking Patton's Cub on 20/4/45. According to his memoirs it was a Spitfire that crashed after making a second pass, killing its pilot, but no RAF loss has been found. Could it have been a French Spitfire or perhaps a P-51?

Just logged in back home. I will reply to you soon. I think I know the pilot involved in Patton's incident but I have to check his log book. Anyway, I have his story described. ;)
