Bureau des archives des victimes des conflits contemporains (BAVCC), CAEN

Is there anyone of forum, who is a "regular" at the Service historique de la Défense in Caen, France. More specifically the above mentioned section.

I am interested in the record of Antoine Winther, cf.
http://www.memoiredeshommes.sga.defe...ultats=&lang=f

If I have understood the service of this archive correctly, one should be able to access his dossier here AC-21P-172273.

He was attached to FAFL, but undergoing training at No. 59 OTU, cf.

Hi Mikkel,

Details of his departure from France here :

http://www.francaislibres.net/liste/...p?index=101582

It is one his friend who told this evasion from France and talk about "Antoine de Winter".

Correct name of the ship is "ARANDORA-STAR" (not correct in your bio)
