Intruder operations over Holland and Belgium
 

Hello ,
Could it be possible that on june 26 1942 N° 1 sqdn flew some Intruder operations on airfields in Holland and Belgium in their Hurricanes .One of the pilots involved must have been W/O Scott Gerald R/69649 .

Six pilots were over Belgium and Holland during the night 25/26 June 1942, t/o from Manston.

W/O Scott (Can) T/O Manston 00.15 H, set of for Eindhoven, lost in HL589

Both, one-armed "Mac" MacLachlan and Czech "Kut" Kuttelwascher were very successfull aces in these operations.
