Uffz Kurt Nern 11./JG27 lost 17 September 1943

Hi guys

Just perusing Jochen Prien's excellent JG27 tomes, and have spotted the above. Apparently Uffz Nern was shot down and killed while flying Bf109G (15321) and crashed into the sea off the island of Kythnos, on 17/9/43.

Has anyone further information? I don't seem to have a corresponding action.

1943-09-17, 11./JG 27, Bf 109G-6, 15321, 15 km nördlich Kythnos, Absturz infolge vermutlich Höhenkrankheit des Führers. Bruch 100 %.
