Bf 109 G-12, WerkNr. 161 037, StKz. PQ + JK, belonged to I./EKG (J), and was reported destroyed at Ansbach on May 1st, 1945; the marking was "green 3".

Hi Jochen et al,
I published stills from this movie in AIRFOIL #1 in 1983. At that time, I made an error in failing to notice that 161037 is a two-seat G-12. Note how much farther aft the cockpit extends vs. that of 37+ yellow later in the movie. Steve Sheflin |

I guess you'll enjoy this. Regrettably the swaz was cut out without including the WNr. Was found in a house by a contractor who was to demolish it. No idea where ended up these items. I came across the picture browsing internet, sorry I do not remember where. Rgrds. |
