Hi all I was wondering if anyone can identify the company Logo/ Motif thats evident on this small piece of cable trim wheel found on the recent Heinkel He 177 excavation. Kind regards Julian

Re: Heinkel He 177 component
It looks to me more like a cable pulley wheel than a trim wheel?
However...thats by-the-by! No idea as to the logo, but is it DRS? Julian - you were trying to contact me? Try going through one of the links, here, at the foot of my post. |
Re: Heinkel He 177 component
Hi, it seems like IRS for me.

Re: Heinkel He 177 component
Maybe "HRS", which stands for "Hermann Ritzmann & Söhne" in Eisfeld/Thuringia.
Big WW2 producer of "Kunststoff"(=bakelite), e.g. pistol grips for Luger and Walther pistols. Regards Fran |
Re: Heinkel He 177 component
I too think its HRS and possibly stands for Herman Ritzmann, however confusing thing is Ritzmann was often sub contracted by Herman Roemmler (Sprengberg) also HRS however I reckon odds are that its the Ritzmann company...does anyone know what happened to this company post war? Roemmlers still exists
