Use the hard to see arrow in the lower right corner of the box and click to the last image of an Fw-190. Another photo but of a different aircraft. http://www.368thfightergroup.com/ima...e-gmplanes.jpg Ed |
Re: Online photos
On the 190 that slightly undersized, stencilled number looks similar to the markings of aircraft of III./KG 51 (later NSG 20).

Re: Online photos
In fact confusion araised seeing the letters, the Ju88G-1 710460 hv to wear something like BS+ZN , this one obviously wear a G, but I then remarked that that G was not the first but the third letter....probably found in aug/sept. 44 in Juvincourt .

Re: Online photos
According to Artie Bob (http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...ghlight=710460) it's Ju 88 G-1 "D5+GM" of 4./NJG 3. It was probably found at Juvincourt, where it crashed on 8 June 1944, or in Metz, as this link states: http://www.368thfightergroup.com/395-photo-1-w.html
However, the wrecked plane might have also been taken to yet another airfield in the time after the crash. Regards, Christian |
