P-47s: 42-26044 and 44-19718

Hi

Did anyone research the following losses?

P-47D-22-RE I7-? 42-26044 of 493rd FS, 48th FG. B.J. Smith (KIA)
and
P-47D-28-RE G8-? 44-19718 of 378th FS, 362nd FG. Lt. T.L.Dean (POW).

Basically I would love to know if any pictures of those two A/C exist (wearing mentioned units' code letters), did anyone research their crash sites and what was the Smith's last rank?

Your help would be much appreciated

All these details were known to me before, now I need help with the pictures of those A/C taken after they were transferred from 56th FG and crash sites excavation.
