Pilot Tippel JG 3 shot down on 25 June 1944
 

Hello,

I am looking for information about the pilot G. Tippel who was shot down (but survived) on 25 June 1944. He belonged to JG 3. Is there any information available about him?

1944-06-25, 6./JG 3, Bf 109G-6, 163666, 5 gelbe, Bei Marcilly-la-Campagne, Luftkampf mit Jäger. Bruch 100 %.

Hi Matti,

Thanks a lot! After that event, he was at the hospital for two months and later transferred to FlUeG 1. I guess that he was so badly insured that he could not fly as a combat pilot anymore after his recovery. He had at least 13 combat missions with JG 3.
