Lt. Franz Beyer
 

Gentlemen: Wondering if anyone could offer some input on the following. 1) Lt. Franz Beyer, with 8/JG-3 during the Battle of Britian.Did he ,per chance, serve with V(Z)/LG-1 on Bf-110's prior to his service with 8/JG-3? 2) Gfr. Joseph Groten, also with V(Z)/LG-1 (credited with a Victory claim in Poland) Curious if he might be the Uffz. Groten Injured in a flying accident with I/JG-53,Spring of 1940. Both of these Men where transferred out of V(Z)/LG-1 after the Polish campaign. I'm trying to establish the units they may have gone to. Many thanks for anything you can offer. Regards: Dean.
