Bf 109 G-6 W.Nr. 441836
 

Hello,

I have received the cut-out serial number off the tail of Bf 109 G-6 W.Nr. 441836. It was found at the Erla-Werk VII at Mortsel, Belgium.

Does anybody have more information about its history?

Hi veltro,

I can understand that you would like to see a photo. I plan to publish photos of it in my next "Captured Eagles" volume and therefore prefer not to show it yet. The numbers are relatively small (maybe 5-7 cm high), black and appear to be carefully hand-painted. The backside of the item has an ink stamp "Bf 109 ZIII" (what is the meaning of this?).
