Recommended Pathfinder books

Dear all,

As I'm currently working on a book about a German Luftwaffe Pathfinder unit (I/KG66), I'm looking for info about their Allied counterparts to make a comparison and get a better insight in the way I/KG66 tried to do its job.

Which books would you recommend about the Allied Pathfinders? I'm especially interested in tactics, target marking techniques and overall effectiveness, but books about Pathfinder units or their (navigational) equipment are also very welcome. (I already have "Beam Bombers, the secret war of No. 109 squadron" by Michael Cumming, for example.)

Many thanks in advance and apologies if this has already been asked before. P.S. Documents are also most welcome, of course.

Marcel

Hi Nick,

Thanks for your reaction. Which edition do you have of this book? Can it still be bought (ISBN?) or do you have a secondhand copy?

Best regards,

Marcel
