Hello!
I have included a scan of this Ogr.
He fell on a mission on the above date. I can't find him anywhere and would like to know more about his fate.
He was a Bordfunker.

Hi Christian,
The VDK have a Uffz Albert Heilmeier, 13.11.1919-27.05.1940, listed as buried at Bourdon, 25-19-730, originaly buried in the Senlecques/Boulogne area.

Ogfr. Albert Heilmeier, 7./KG3 killed may 27th 1940 after the plane was hit by flak and fighters near Senlecques, east of Desvres, Heilmeier given as a airgunner, the WOp Flg. Joseph Staffler was badly wounded. take off was Würzburg airfield, target was Boulogne.

Hello,

In the EOE Data Base we carry this as:

May 27, 1940: 7./KG3 Dornier Do17Z. Returned damaged by AA fire and fighters over Senlecques, east of Desvres, during sortie to Boulogne 4.00 p.m. BF Uffz Albert Heilmeier killed, HS Flgr Joseph Staffler badly wounded, rest of crew believed unhurt. Aircraft 100% write-off."

At this period of the war, the Luftwaffe QM loss records don't yet record aircraft SN or fuselage codes. Although we've added many of these to our entries by cross checking from other sources, including photography, we've not added further to the info on this incident.
