Need help identifying these Ju-88s
Hey guys,
I am a newbie, and this is my 1st post. http://www.leros.org/lerostouristpic...amic_view1.jpgI found these pics when I was reading online about the history of the Island of Leros during WWII, a greek island in the Mediterranean very close to Turkey. My question is what version of Ju-88 is this? Is it a A,C, ect? And can anyone read the code on the side of it? I would REALLY like to do a 1/48 model of this plane! So any other info on the camo and such is greatly appreaciated! Any help or comments are welcome! thanks, http://www.leros.org/lerostouristhttp/wwiileros1_gr1.htm PS - The pics were taken in sept. 1943 when the Italians surrendered. The Ju-88s in the pic are going to bomb the Italian and British fortifications still holding out after the surrender of the island. http://www.leros.org/lerostouristpic...leros/u88_.jpg http://www.leros.org/lerostouristpic...gh_decent1.jpg |
