An interesting Sch./Fl.Ausb.Rgt. 43 loss
The surname Hartmann is certainly not unique in Lw losses, but does anyone have any other information regarding this loss? Is it for the Erich Hartmann? I've never seen any reference to the man being injured during his training.

Not the same guy. This was born in 1919.

Thanks Matti. I suspected it wasn't likely the same guy given that Hartmann seems to be a fairly common surname, but since I didn't have the NVLM for the loss, which does include that type of info, I didn't know for sure.
