Help with AG.GR.OG.d.L

Hoping somebody could help with the personnel of this unit, which I believe was a reconnaissance unit, I have no data to work with so cannot identify the pilots making claims, and know absolutely nothing about there fates i.e dates of death or birth, forenames e.t.c

1st staffel claimers are:-

26th June 1942 LaGG-3 Uffz Löwe at Saiask 0735 hrs 8000 metres
26th June 1942 MiG-3 Gefr Schober 0818 hrs 8200 metres
20th July 1942 MiG-3 Gefr "Onitzki" 0642 hrs 8800 metres

2nd Staffel

23rd August 1941 Jak-1 Ofw Gerd Hoppe NE "Bologoje" 0919 hrs 8000 metres
4th June 1942 Spitfire Fw "Ehlogl" or "Schogl" 0750 hrs 50 metres
24th June 1942 LaGG-3 Uffz Heinz Breitlauch 0824 hrs 6500 metres
26th June 1942 MiG-3 Uffz Werner Conrad South of Lipezk 0556 hrs 6800 metres
28th June 1942 MiG-3 Uffz "Celik...." SE Stalingrad 1455 hrs 3000 metres
31st August 1942 MiG-3 Oblt "Bringechel" 1012 hrs 1200 hrs
3rd October 1942 MiG-3 Lt "Hampl" North of Kirovograd 0812 hrs 6500 hrs
24th October 1942 MiG-3 Ogefr Müller 0810 hrs 7000 metres

Almost all at high altitude, and all soviet flown fighters, I can only assume that these high altitude reconnaissance aircraft were intercepted, and able to defend themselves!

Grateful as ever for any help.

Kind Regards

Johannes

Re: Help with AG.GR.OG.d.L

Johannes,

The Oblt "Bringechel" you've listed is listed as Oblt Burgerdat of 2(F)/Ob.d.L in Tony Woods list. I believe this is Oblt Albert Burgschat who was awarded the DKG on 29 Feb 1943 with 2(F)/100 because 2(F)/Ob.d.L became 2(F)/100 on 27 Jan 1943.

I also have a Uffz Heinz Breitlauch of 2(F)/100 getting the DKG on 17 Oct 1943. Unit designation change same as above.

I haven't been able to come up with any other matches yet.

Regards,

Craig...
