Uffz August Tschaffon, 6./JG 54, 6 January 1944
 

Hello,

According to the JG 54 loss list by Günther Rosipal, on 6 January 1944 Uffz August Tschaffon of 6./JG 54 was wounded and his Fw190A-6 WNr 530959 "yellow 6" destroyed (at 100%) in an emergency landing (Notlandung), but no location is given.

Can someone confirm the above, and complete it with the location of the incident ?

Loss list also has him as baling out wounded following combat with IL-2s on 1-5-1944, unfortunately list for II/JG54 does not give locations very ofton.
