KG4 19.April 40

Seems plane 5J+GA , was lost near Drammen NORWAY around 15h00 , crew saved

Only KG 4 incident that day carried in the EOE DB was 4./KG4 near Oslo.

"April 19, 1940: 4./KG4 Heinkel He111P-2. Crash-landed north of Oslo following engine failure. No crew casualties. Aircraft 5J+HM 100% write-off."

Have damaged 5J+GA in DB during Sept. 16, 1939, and one with that code lost on June 19, 1940, but nothing during the period in question. No incident at all in our DB for Stab./KG4 during April of 1940.

Source is the KTB of the rescue-service North, plane is explicitly named as destroyed crew saved.

Incredible I googled Drammen Luftwaffe, nd found already our thread...
