Bf 110 G NJG 1 G9+JA Double or Triple Chevron - Whose a/c was it?

Hello,

Does anybody know who may have flown a Bf 110 G with FuG 220 and the code G9+JA with either a double or (more likely) a triple chevron on its fuselage sides?

Cheers,
Roger

Nobody? I would have thought that an aircraft wearing a double (or triple) chevron would be quite easy to identify.

Cheers,
Roger

I don't have any losses for a 110 with that code. What is your reference for this machine?

I was offered a photo of that plane, but did not get a preview yet. I thought it may be a well known plane as it carried a double or triple chevron. But apparently, it is not commonly known. As it was found at the end of the war, it was probably not mentioned in a loss list. I will try to get it for my next book.

Ok, from History of the German Night Fighter Force 1917-1945-Aders.
There is a picture of this A/C in this book with the caption:
"The standard Stab chevron fuselage markings were also introduced to the night fighter force early in 1945. The photograph shows the NJG-1 CO's aircraft after it had been crash landed in Sweden by the radar operator of Oblt Jabs in May 1945".
From "The Luftwaffe in Sweden"-The airplane belonged to Oblt Hans_joachim Jabs. Two airmen Fw Fritz Hrachowina and Uffz Alexander Siegfried Koenig flew the airplane to Sweden

Actually the code was G9+AA with a triple chevron. Good pictures in Luftwaffe In Sweden

hmm folks! The plane flown by Jabs had a FuG218 and not FuG220!

So assuming the photo Roger saw is indeed '<<< G9+JA', might this not be another machines of Jabs?
