He 111 P(?) crash on 1 February 1944

Hello,

I ave a very short note that a He 111 P crashed on 1 February 1944 at/near Steinfeld, Germany, killing four men.

No other details known.... :(

Has someone a corresponding entry in a loss database ? If the type is right it should be a school aircraft.

Thanks in advance

Laurent

Thanks,

Seems no one had any loss closer than the KG 6 Ju 88 on 29-Jan-1944.

Can someone provide details of this Ju 88 loss ?

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Thanks Jim

I think the closest loss is the He 111C at Demmin: with my initial note, it has the same number of casualties and is also an old type of He 111. The crash location is not very close to any place called Steinfeld.

Best regards
