Who know details of the death of GM LW Karl Schuchardt (commander of X.Flak-Brigade) 13.Aug.1943?

All we have in our files is that he died near Oul/USSR.

Andrey - there is no "Oul" in Russia, of course. By keying that into Google Earth, you get Oulu/Finland. There is no "Oul" anwhere, I guess.

On 15 July 1943, Stab X. Flak-Brig. transferred from Vorozhba/68 km E of Konotop to Orel to take command of all Flak forces supporting AOK 9. (NARA WashDC: T-312 roll 1243, frame 452).

Orel was liberated by Soviet forces 4-5 August and the German defenders fell back toward Karachev and Bryansk. My guess is that "Oul" may be a typo and mean Orel. But he wouldn't have been in Orel on 13 August, so the place and circumstances of his death is unclear.

Not in the city itself but the front did not move that fast in Orel area and even after the city was captured the German retreat was more or less under control.

Yes, Pawel is right.
For example, the Wehrmacht had plenty of time to severely destroy the city and even make a "nice" documentation of these destructions. I saw a collection of pictures of several buildings / areas in Orel "before / after" destruction.

If he was killed in an aircraft, this might be one possible case:
1943-08-13, Verbindungstaffel 54, Fi 156C-3, 1030, Nähe Lokot, Bordwaffenbeschuß. Bruch 100 %.
