Duty position of Hptmn Erwin Aichele of I./JG51 7.40
 

Hello:

1) Does anyone know what Aichele's position with Stab I./JG51 was? He was shot down and killed near Calais, France, on 29 July 1940.

2) Photos of his grave are common, but has anyone discovered any photos of his a/c before it crashed, showing it's markings at the time he was shot down?
