We record this in the EoE Luft loss DB as: "January 31, 1940: 5./KG4 Heinkel He111P-2 (1552). Crashed and burned out during take-off at Diepholz, cause not stated. (Ff) Oberlt Johann Müller, (Beo) Oberlt Max Graf Draganski, (Bf) Fw Friedrich Züfle, and (Bm) Uffz Fritz Steinecke all killed. Aircraft 5J+HN 100% write-off." Regards, |

I agree that it looks like +NP, but the style could actually be a stkz rather than vbkz. TU+NP was a He111P-2. Ian |
