1./JG 27, Weisse 5. EBay.
 

Hi guys,

Another picture of that Bf109E-4(E-3?), Weisse 5, 1./ JG 27 taken in De Panne (La Panne in french).
This is the 5th picture of that same beached plane.

Camouflage style and number size are typical for I./JG 27 in early 40s.
Seller tells "Yellow 5". I must recognise that even with five pictures I still am not able to decide clearly ...
... But I prefer white! :).

The fact there is no I./JG 27 emblem is also typical for that period and unit.

Hi Gents,

Today another picture of the said plane but seller's caption is "Strand bei DE HAAN/Ostende"!
Nevertheless some friend is able to check if it's La Panne or not (supposing the houses are still there!)

PS: Amazingly it's the same seller than the last one and this picture comes from the same album than previous where it was indicated "la Panne"!!!

Hi Gents,

Still difficult to say but houses seem familiar.
La Panne is 60km south of Ostende while De Haan (Hahn, le coq) beach is 10km north.
Will stay with La Panne since for other pictures different seller gave it; Two's better than one.
