Loss of Ofw. Willi Rinke 06.10.1942 or 3
 

Hi all, Searching for further information regarding the loss of Ofw. Willi Rinke. Would like to create a page of remembrance for Willi using two original grave photos. Unfortunately the photos are not that sharp and I am not sure if his death occured in 1942 or 1943? Any furher info regarding this loss would be appreciated.

Melvin, any ideas as to where the grave site is located? Western Europe, Africa or somewhere else? What type of unit? I've look through several of my aircraft files with no luck. Any thoughts on unit type - training, support or whatever would help narrow down the search. I did find a Wilhelm Rinke killed while with Flzg.Leitst./Lfl.2 in Jun-43, but he was an Uffz.

Hi Jim, Yes I found the same Uffz in my listings, I am beginning to think that this is not a Luftwaffe loss, possibly Wehrmacht!
