Bf110 D5+ML Ofw. Gieseke
 

Good evening all, a long shot!
On 8 July 1944 (early morning ) Ofw. Herbert Gieseke and crew in Bf110 D5+ML W.Nr. ? 1./NJG3 suffered an engine fire and force landed. I am looking to see was it a write off and its W.Nr. please

Thank you Junker.
Since discovered that despite it being a "belly" landing he was airborne in the D5+ML four days later, obviously it was not badly damaged.

I have a note that according to NVM damage was 100 %. Maybe four days later he flew a "new" D5+ML.

Not sure Matti, I have him listed on 12 July, D5+ML Werkstattflug (Test flight?) I would appreciate confirmation however, and if so is there a new Werke Nr.?
