crash ofa JU88 belgian ardennes info sought
 

we are looking for info on a german bomber JU88 who crashed direction La Roche towards Marche
this JU88 had jumo213 engines( this due to parts that were recovered)

crash was probably after 20-7-44
any info would be appreciated

Phil my geography is not too good, but do any of these fit into the area you are looking at;-

1/ 26-12-44 Ju88S-3 of 5/LG1 vicinity of Huy or Ju88S-3 L1+KK near Huy the same night

2/ 27-12-44 Ju88 G-6 of 9/NJG2 near Malmedy

3/30-12-44 Ju88G-1 of 2/NJG4 near Neufchateau 24Km S/W of Bastogne

It could help if we got a more precise location. "Direction La Roche towards Marche " is quite misty. Was it the Ju 88 crashed in Saint-Remy wood?

its max 10km from La roche
its a smallplace called HODINSTER

its a place called HODINSTER- GENES
its about 10KM from La Roche
eyewitness toldme end 44 was the crash
and it was a nightbomber due to some items that were found
a serial number was found 330887 but i don't know if this gives a clue

Another report for 26-12-44 gives the loss of Ju88 S-3 L1+EH which fell to a N/F to the west of St.Vith wn was 330807 ?
