Need photo reference for unit insignias & a/c codes on Stab KG76 Do17Zs from 1939-40 period: F1+_A
 

Hello,

For profile artwork, I need any known photo references during the 1939-40 period for the coding on the fuselage sides, top wings and underwings of Do17Z a/c from the Stab of KG76. These would read F1+_A. I need for style of lettering, size and exact positioning for color profile artwork packages for the EoE Project.

Also need to know when the switch took place between the original Stab unit insignia of the owl design to the "Florian Geyer" KG76 emblem seen on unit Do17 Stab a/c apparently sometime around mid-1940. Which of the two designs were carried on Stab a/c during the May-June, 1940 Western Campaign? Anybody got any info on this or datable photos with either design?
