USAAF Crashplace Database to share
 

Hi all !

As some other people were so friendly to share their private Luftwaffe
officer data base, I would like to share an Excel file containig information on some 4600 USAAF known crash places, which amounts to almost 30% out of more than 15000 MACR's. The information stems from various sources including this marvellous forum. Information is sorted by crash/loss date and gives the following details:

MACR
Crash Date
Aircraft type
Serial
Code
Nickname
Group
Sqn
Pilot
Mission/Target
Crashplace
Country

And with 70% of crashplaces missing it is still far from complete.
As we all know there also must be errors (dubious entries marked in green).

Now one question: who wants to put it (like mholm for Luftwaffe officers) on his website so everybody can download it for free?

Hi, in agreement with FrankieS, i store the Excel in one Zip file on the bottom of the index page from one of my websites http://Histavia21.net
Just click on one of the 2 US Flags for download it .
Prochainly i try to upgrade the decor... add explains, give date for updates ...
etc... etc...
