Oblt. von Boiser!

Hi All,

Has anyone come across this officer before? I have checked our Kracker archive but cannot find him listed there. Norbert kindly worked out the surname from reverse of photo. I have attached an image of this Oblt and the reverse of the photo in the hope someone can help further?

Kind regards

Melvin

Hi,

there is written :

Oblt. von Boiser
13.7.1941
Vom Feindflug nicht zurück gekehrt
(Not returned from sortie)

Just return this image into a negative and you can read it ;)

Many thanks for that Rainer, thanks also for the tip!
Can anyone supply the loss details for Oblt. von Boiser, would be nice to create a page of remembrance for him.

Regards,

Melvin

I think, that he is Olt Keiser, missing since 1941-03-13:

Re: Oblt. von Boiser!

I reckon Matti is right I went through the GQM lists and could not find a von Boiser in any of the 1941 losses. The date on the back of the photo highlighted by JohnnyB does look more like a '3' to me. I believe this aircraft was credited to to F/O Braham and Sgt Ross of 29 Sqd. in an attack on Hull 12/13th March. Body of Bf Fw. Heinz Genahr (b 30-5-17) washed ashore 11-6-41 buried Coltishall,

Re: Oblt. von Boiser!

Matti, Brian, Thank you very much indeed for your exceptional efforts in identifying this airman, especially more so as he is missing in action.

Best wishes to you both.

I have a photo of Von Keiser (see page 106 of my Blitz book) taken in the Summer of 1940 if you want to make a comparison
