Re: Arado 234B identification

All I had was Lt. Friedrich Amann born 19-5-1944 of 6/KG76, shot down from 6000' by P-47s of 56th FG, aircraft crashed North of Limburg. Pilot baled out but killed when his chute failed, he was buried at Rennerod. For the mission he was leading a Kette of ? Wordemann and Ofw. Johne. Information came following a dig on the crash site of his aircraft in 1991,

Re: Arado 234B identification

Thanks for info. guys.........I have deduced that VDK is the ''German War Graves Agency'' but my web-search only turns up information based on the First World War rather than the Second.

Is there a direct URL address (web link) I can use to find it another way ?

@ cjme201262:

http://www.volksbund.de/

- on top klick "Service"-button
- then on left side klick "Gräbersuche"

Before getting access to "Gräbersuche online" You must register. This is as simple as possible and only takes short time.

Best Regards
Norbert
