Uffz Karl Stumpf (or Strumpf) of 9.III/JG27 +22.10.1943

Hi All,

Can anyone please provide us with further information regarding the loss of Uffz Karl Stumpf (or Strumpf) of 9.III/JG27 who was killed:
- on the 22.10.1943 in Greece ( source “Jagdgeschwader 27”, authors Hans Ring e Werner Girbig, ed. Motorbuch Verlag Stuttgart 1971)
- or on the 23.10.1943 near airport Podgorica- Montenegro in the Balcans shot down by two RE 2002 5° Stormo Regia Aeronautica( source “Il 5° Stormo” authors Giuseppe Pesce –Nicola Malizia ed Mucchi 1984 ).

Any further information regarding aircraft/crew etc would be greatly appreciated.

It 's strange that it is not in the list of shot down by IV/JG27 the Re 2002 piloted by ten Ugo Bassi 5° Stormo Regia Aeronautica near Podgorica on the 23.10.1943

In red last mission of Ten. pilota Ugo Bassi 208^ Squadriglia ( Re 2002 ) on the Podgorica 23.10.1943. The mission: take off from Manduria ( Ta) with other 2 Re 2002 for a raid of Berane
