Re: SVEN SCHULTE

BRIAN,
We both do know he was a Junkers Ju 88 pilot and at least a "Leutnant"...
Tried on Kracker Archives...but NO joy.....the "only close match" is that of:
Schulte, Wolfgang Hptm 7/11/1918 Solingen 9/KG-54 (4/42),I/KG-54 (6/42), 3/KGr-806 (8/42), Stfkpt 11/KG-54 (10/44), Stab/KG(J)-54 (11/44) Ju 88A-4/C in 806, Ju 88A-4, Me 262 DK-G(8/21/42), EP(9/1/42), EK 1 & 2, Bomber Operational Clasp Known to have led attacks on England in June, 1942, as led by Major Linke.
Maybe you buy the book and tell us....
All the best Brian and let's hope to find something about this early Ju 88 pilot....

Re: SVEN SCHULTE

Hi Brian,

I have the following:

Nov 10th 1940, Ju88 A-1 - WNr 5128 - B3+JM - 4./KG54
Failed to return from Ops to London

FF Lt Sven Schulte MIA
BO Uffz Willibald Erb MIA
BF Uffz Otto Krannich MIA
BS Uffz Hans Tober

Do you happen to have a picture of Schulte?

Regards,
Rudi.

Re: SVEN SCHULTE

Hello Brian,

Paralleling what Rudi provides above, we carry this in the Eagles Over Europe Luft Loss Data Base as: "November 10, 1940: 4/KG54 Junkers Ju88A-1 (5128). Failed to return from a sortie to London, believed crashed in sea. FF Lt Sven Schulte, BO Uffz Willi Erb, FB Uffz Otto Krannich and BS Uffz Hans Tober all missing. Aircraft B3+JM 100% write off."

The only difference is that we carry Tober as also MIA, which I think was simply an oversight in Rudi's post. If you have any further information or photos of this aircraft or crew, or individuals on the crew, I would appreciate hearing about it.

Re: SVEN SCHULTE

Larry is absolutely right. My post should read:
BS Uffz Hans Tober MIA

Regards,
Rudi.

Hi guys

I didn't get the book about Sven Schulte that was on e-bay (but I did one I was after though it cost be £28.00).

I hope the top bidder was one of our members?

Cheers
Brian
