Hi Matti

I have a problem with the WNr
According to sources regarding Do production WNr 760 is identified as a Do 24K-1

The published Do 18 list contains no WNr 760

Any comments?
Cheers
Stig

Hello,

Since this is a School unit, we do not have this one in the EoE Luft Loss DB.

Hi Stig,

I have 760 both for this Do 18 and also for Do 24. Do 18 was reported with 760 in the document "Flugzeugunfälle bei Schulen usw." dated 20. November 1940. Unfortunately I have no other document to confirm this number.

Regards,

Matti

Thanks Matti

Typical! I was hoping you were to revert back with you had made a typo or something similar:)
Now what do we do? My feeling is that this IS a Do 18 but the Wnr is wrong! I checked the history of Do 24V1 WNr 760 and the last report my second hand sources states is that this one forcelanded at Vardö on 18.9.1940.

Perhaps Seaplanes can come to the rescue??

Cheers
Stig
