Hello friends!

This question goes mainly to the Italian mates. I am searching for the operations of 153 Gruppo during March-April 1941 (flying mainly MC.200). After a little googling I found a very interesting document coming from the Italian Ministry of Defence which is here:

Example for 153 Gruppo is this:

630.Diario storico 153° Gruppo caccia terrestre. 1941
1941 lug. 1 - dic. 31

My question is can someone retrieve these information from the list in the above document? And if yes, how? They are very important for me!

As far as I know, the Italian AF Historical Archive is proceeding to a digitalization of all war diaries, but I don't think that they are available by this way yet. The usual way to get copy of them is to go to Rom and take digital pictures...at the very low rate of € 3,00 per diary.

Anyway, you may ask to the Office itself:

Thank you very much Gianandrea! Really nice to hear that they only cost 3,00€ per diary. The only problem is that I am not able to go to Rome, so I will need to find another way. Maybe paying some to go for me would be a good idea?

unfortunately there is no mail service. there is only one service inspection at the Town Office in Rome and only after authorized by appointment.

unfortunately this is the greatest difficulty of doing research in Italy; they can afford only those who live in Rome, almost
