Heinkel 111 engines during 1940

Did the Heinkel 111 during the Battle of Britain period use wooden propellors as well as metal ones ?

It kind of depends of what time period you assume BoB. Although not He 111 expert I'd say in summer 1940 there were no He 111s with (broad) wooden propellers.

Thanks for the response Pawel

On Ebay at the moment is an engine claimed to be from a Heinkel ?
It has a wooden prop and was recovered from the sea.
Although the picture is not on the site as yet they will email over a picture on your request and i think they will be adding the image to Ebay soon.

Is it from a Heinkel ??????

I may be wrong but I believe the Ju 87 was the only German combat a/c using broad bladed wooden props in 1940.
